Cheyenne and Ivan were such an awesome couple. We have met them in the first book and in this book, she finally gives him his shot.
Sometimes you meet the right guy at the wrong time and that is what Ivan is to Cheyenne. Prior to this book she has friend zoned him because she has a plan and that is to be casual until she retires from modeling at age 30.
She is a 24-year-old very sexy and hot model, and Ivan is a 28-year-old Russian hockey player. It was fun reading their story and seeing that even super models have problems. And it was awesome watching Ivan be there for her even when she didn't know that she needed him.
I loved this book, but it is not all fun and games and hot sex scenes. This book also deals with the issue of "Woke Me Too," which honestly, I had to google. It deals with Domestic Violence and the signs of it, the red flags. Ivan comes from it, and I loved how he and the other hockey players are vocal that any violence against a woman is NOT okay, even though there might be some violent moments during a hockey game. It is never cool to raise a hand against a woman and when they say that in the book, I totally loved them.
